Armani's Showers of Color Fashion Show Review

10 year old Designer Armani Nejor Dolby held her first Fashion Show Production at the lovely Lexus Club Lounge at PNC Park this past weekend. The event was one of most elegance, the mood was right, the food was right and the place was right! I don't think this could have been a more perfect setting for an elegant show even for a well incorporated adult fashion industry leader. As the NUP Steel Pan Band played with sounds of the Tropics and an array of delectable from Italy and Asia were dined upon...fashion movers, shakers, makers and goers were in awe of the surroundings. Including Traci Lynn Jewelry Consultant Cheryl Harris who provided the jewelry for the show, her husband and patrons! The Lovely MC was the Rev. Alicia Askew keeping up with the trends w/ leopard print leggings and ruffles & lace! Armani is front row and ready to enjoy her show seen here with Donna Michelle Baxter CEO of Soul Pitt Media who recently featured Armani as part of the cover story of "The Future of Black History in Pittsburgh in the SPQ (Soul Pitt Quarterly magazine)." Shelly LaVelle, a Patty LaBelle impersonator literally "Kicked-off" the event with her heel kicking shoe trademark of the famous singer. That took the mood to a whole different height! For a second I thought we had Keri Hilson from Rip The Runway in the house!

This Fashion was rightly named because there were so beautiful gowns in the most radiant colors!

Some Shimmery...

And some Silky! The mid drift two-piece gown is very popular for Prom this season, high front/low back gowns and the Grecian one shoulder gown is the most elegant and my favorite!

And then the Print Gowns that have been all the rave for Proms for the last three seasons...

And of course there was the sexy & sheik Black for any occasion...

And White for you All White Parties...

The Convertible Maxi Dress is popular these days and a fun & flirty cover all for plus size women as well as the all white Romper w/ large satin bow and shoulder pads and appliques are back!!!

For the Club Bustier Rompers, Platinum & Satin Minis provided by Fashionista and Sheda's Closet

Shelly LaVelle strutted the stage again singing "New Attitude" by Patty LaBelle which was fitting because that's the name of the Dress Salon in Greensburg!

A Woman's Touch in Wilkinsburg & New Attitude Dress Salon in Greensburg Colors for Church...

Steppin' out in NU 2 U Kidz...and don't leave the Men & Boys at home...

And for the Career Woman, black & white is a great statement combination in any form along with the belted coat dress and a pop of color from Fine Designs by Leslie Harris...

Animal Print is big in Trenches, Tops and Dresses...

Then there was Armani Nejor Designs full of color blocking and color striping...

Not too bad for a 10 year old huh? Her Mother is seen here wearing one of her fashions along with her little sister.

The show was a major success! It takes a lot of hard work, cooperation, stamina and skills to pull off such a large show but Armani, with the help of her mother and others did it with grace and Style! Seen here in another one of Armani's creations is her Mother, brother and sister to close out the show. This Red Gown trimmed in black has a hood and really gives you a feel for Armani's Couture Designs!

Armani was so touched and overwhelmed by the love in the room that she couldn't speak, her tears were enough to show her humility! Roses were handed to her by show production manager Alike Royal.

Pittsburgh Fashion Week founder and national model Miyoshi Anderson who featured Armani's designs in her Eco-Chic Show at last year's PFW came on stage to console her and give her a gift of love. Backstage, Miyoshi also announced to the designers that the tv show "Project Runway" sought her out with an interest in Pittsburgh Fashion Designers, so if you are one friend Miyoshi Anderson on Facebook so you can get all the details!

The Smooth Groove Band played following the show.

I love this young lady and her ambition to be a success at a young age!!!
